Darren Groth VP Engineering Vice President of Engineering Darren Groth joined the Rimage engineering organization in 2002, with expanding leadership roles throughout Engineering. After serving as Director of Product Development, he became Vice President of Engineering and continues his broad experience in technical leadership for Rimage. Prior to joining Rimage he served Plasmon IDE as Director of Engineering. Darren has a BS in Mechanical Engineering & Industrial Engineering from Iowa State University. Married with three boys, Darren has committed over 25 years of service running youth sports organizations and currently is President of the Fridley Baseball Association and loves teaching kids the transactional relationship of sports and life.
Alan Chang VP APAC Alan Chang joined Rimage in June of 2015 as Vice President for the Asia-Pacific region, adding a Taiwan office to supplement Rimage locations in Shanghai China and Tokyo Japan. He provides leadership within Asia-Pacific, focusing on business development, market planning and supply chain management. Alan has more than 25 years of experience in Asia-Pacific market development and business operations, with senior leadership positions at LeadTek Research, Sun Microsystems, ViewSonic, Apple Computer, and Compaq Computer. He earned a Masters Degree in Industrial Engineering and Management from National Tsing Hua University, Taiwan, and a B.S. from National Chiao Tung University, Taiwan. He is married with three children and enjoys swimming and jogging, and is an avid reader.
Sean GaAfar VP Sales, Americas Sean Gaafar joined Rimage in 2002, rising through sales management positions before his promotion in 2014 to Vice President of Sales for North America and Latin America. His responsibilities include leading the Rimage sales team and nurturing the Rimage sales channel serving the Americas, as well as developing and supporting major accounts throughout the region. An experienced relationship-builder, Sean has built strong partnerships with significant enterprise accounts that rely upon on-demand digital publishing in their workflows. Sean’s experience prior to joining Rimage includes both sales management and small business management. He earned his BA degree from the University of Alexandria, in Alexandria, Egypt. In his spare time, Sean enjoys the Southern California weather by cycling, scuba diving, boating and motorcycling, and he fosters and volunteers at a German Shepard Rescue organization.
Frank Rotermund Managing Director, EMEA Managing Director, EMEA Frank Rotermund started with Rimage in 1992 in Application Engineering before advancing in 1999 as Controller for Rimage’s Europe, Middle East, and Africa regional operations. In 2014 he became Managing Director for Rimage EMEA, and today has executive management responsibility for sales and marketing, service and support, and operations for this international region. His education includes Dipl. Kaufmann (Masters in business administration and economics) from Goethe University in Frankfurt am Main, Germany.
