Founded in 1978, Rimage designs and manufactures optical disc publishing and printing hardware and provides related software, consumables and services. Throughout its history, the company has provided best-in-class workflow-integrated solutions that serve a variety of markets and applications. In July 2014, the company became part of the Equus Holdings portfolio. Ownership of Equus Holdings is an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP), a benefit plan allowed in the United States in which employees own private stock in the company.

History

Focus on Digital Data Solutions in the EMEA Region

Since 1 September 2023 Rimage EMEA GmbH, a subsidiary of the DTM Group, proudly represents US manufacturer Rimage Corporation in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Rimage EMEA aims to serve all current clients with established quality and will continuously seek out for new opportunities to increase the significance of Rimage, its products and services in the EMEA region. By doing so Rimage EMEA operates as an independent company.

Rimage is active in digital data lifecycle management focused within on-demand digital publishing, data security, data management and data preservation solutions leveraging a combination of laser-based storage technology that includes proprietary software, certified CDs, DVDs, Blu-ray discs and USB sticks. As part of its business, Rimage develops and manufactures systems for digital data distribution and archiving and supports with its workflow-integrated systems businesses throughout the world, including day-to-day disc publishers and organisations that duplicate and print a variety of media as components of their daily operations.

With 1500 sqm office and workshop space as well as several demo and training rooms DTM Group provides sufficient opportunities for Rimage EMEA to flourish. The internal 1200 sqm storage space can flexibly be expanded with external capacities and offers Rimage EMEA a perfect infrastructure to sell all of Rimage’s products and serve international partners and customers with excellent quality. Rimage EMEA is located in Wiesbaden, Germany, in the middle of the Rhine-Main area, the largest transportation hub in Europe.
